The game has a mini-map on the screen’ top, which displays the positions of the player and other rival drivers. There are different circuits available, and each has a set of obstacles that the player has to overcome at any cost. The player navigates the circuits from either a third-person perspective or a first-person viewpoint behind the steering. The main job of the player is to race against rival drivers and struggle to reach the end of each stage to become the winner.
The game has three courses like the previous levels, such as a Beginner, an Advanced, and the Long Expert. At the beginning of the game, the player has an ability to select the car and corresponding driver each with its unique capabilities and the player experience. The game serves as the follow up to the Daytona USA and comes with a superior graphics. Daytona USA 2 is a Racing, Single-player and Multiplayer video game with an emphasis on Arcade elements, developed by Sega AM2 and published by Sega.
